A THOUGHTFUL BEGINNING

Every next step starts
with a conversation.

  1. 01

    Explore & express interest

Choose your county and learn about long-term shared living. Prepare your questions at your own pace.

  2. 02

    Meet & understand the fit

A conversation about your goals, household needs, verifiable income, any additional partner support, and shared-home expectations.

  3. 03

    Review & prepare together

When intake opens, review required verification, any screening steps, costs, and the living agreement before deciding.

  4. 04

    Plan a supported beginning

If the fit and availability are confirmed, agree on next steps, orientation, and the support that helps you and your household settle.

Who is this program designed for?

Individuals and families seeking long-term stability with verifiable income, including mothers and fathers with children, single working adults, seniors, and veterans. Income verification, household needs, shared-living expectations, and availability are reviewed individually during intake. Partner support may supplement verified income. Exploring here does not determine eligibility or reserve a place.

LIVING TOGETHER WITH CARE

A home with clear expectations.

Conversations include caring for shared spaces, cleaning, visitors, indoor smoking, everyday household needs, and any support or accessibility questions. Room arrangements and written terms are reviewed for the selected home before anyone commits.

A THOUGHTFUL REVIEW

Know each step before you begin.

Identity and verifiable income are reviewed directly when formal intake opens. Any screening process and required authorization are explained beforehand. Bring questions to the meet and greet, and agree together on a suitable next step.

A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY

Questions?
You’re welcome here.

Good decisions begin with clear expectations and room to ask.

Who is welcome to explore living here?

Mothers and fathers with children, single working adults, seniors, and veterans with verifiable income are welcome to explore long-term shared living. We do not discriminate. Each prospective resident is reviewed individually with dignity and respect. The focus is stability, community support, learning, and growth; home arrangements are confirmed before any living agreement.

Are homes open in both counties right now?

Union County and Anson County are the two program lanes. Confirmed addresses, opening dates, current spaces, and intake arrangements are not yet listed in this hub. Choosing a county helps prepare the right conversation; it does not confirm an available home or reserve a place.

What will eligibility and intake involve?

Verifiable income is required for every resident group. A fit conversation also considers your goals, household needs, shared-living expectations, and availability. Employment income, retirement, Social Security, veteran benefits, or other documentable income can be discussed; accepted proof is confirmed during intake. Partner resources may supplement verified income. Required verification and any screening steps are explained before formal review. No final decision is made through this guide.

What are the costs and what is included?

Resident pricing, deposits, utilities, room arrangements, and other included services will be confirmed for the selected home before anyone makes a commitment. This hub does not quote family rates or request payment.

How should I prepare a referral?

Begin by explaining the program to the prospective resident and asking whether they want to explore it. With their permission, prepare a conversation about the preferred county, household needs, verifiable income, and any additional support your organization can offer. Agree on an approved referral method with G & C before sharing personal information.

Can we partner without referring a resident?

Yes. Explore housing resources, learning and development, or resident and community support. Your guide will suggest the topics to discuss; participation, services, funding, and responsibilities are confirmed through a partnership conversation.

Does this guide submit an application or referral?

No. It creates a conversation guide from your choices. It does not send a message, enroll a resident, add anyone to a waitlist, or submit a referral. You can copy or download the guide and decide when to use it. Choices stay in this page session.

Who leads G & C Legacy Living?

Guillermo and Carol Yard lead G & C Legacy Living, a for-profit shared-living venture. It is separate from Open Arms Community Outreach Inc. (DBA: OA Community HUB) and Phoenix Oasis Enterprises | The Executionist™. Community partners may bring their own referral, funding, learning, or support roles to the collaboration.
